I’ve been wanting to have sessions in my studio for a while now and am finally offering studio sessions for babies and kids only. While my main focus will still be location sessions, I think these studio sessions will be a great addition to the services I offer. In order to celebrate the launch of these sessions, I am offering studio mini sessions for the month of February. These are great if you want to capture some great images of your babies and kids without investing in a full custom session. The details are as follows:

Happy New Year Everyone! Hope everyone had a great holiday season. I want to thank all my clients in 2009 for making it such a great year. Sadly, my blog was completely neglected that last few months of the year as my holiday rush left me with very little time. I’ve had a few weeks to recoup and am planning on blogging some of my favorite images and sessions over the next few weeks.
Now meet the Puri family who were visiting from New York. They are my 1st session for 2010 and it was a great one to start off the year. Remember that beautiful couple from my fun Santa Monica maternity session? Well they finally welcomed their baby girl and she couldn’t have been sweeter. She slept like an angel for most of the session and was full of sleepy smiles. I know her mommy has been anxiously waiting to see a peek. Here she is:

If you are pregnant and have not had a chance to check out the maternity boutique Xpecting, this is the perfect night to do so. Xpecting has the CUTEST maternity clothes (and also a bunch of other great stuff, including stollers, Bellabands and diaper bags) I have seen and I only wish it was around when I was pregnant with my daughter 5 years ago. The fact that the owner Stephani is so knowledgeable and helpful is just icing on the cake!
Mindy from Cotton Idea Studio will also be there and its a great time to drool over her GORGEOUS letterpress cards and products.

I always have great intentions to give sneak peeks within a few days after the session, but inevitably things get busy and the few days turn into a week. I met up with Ava and her parents last week in Laguna and Ava was a perfect little subject who at 3 months already knows how to work it for the camera. She was such a little sweetie and such a happy baby. Here she is:
I met up with the Novak family in Balboa. They love bringing the boys to the Fun Zone and wanted to capture them having fun doing the various things they like to do. I first photographed their family last year when their son Ryan was born and its hard to believe how fast time goes by. Heather & Chris – Hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Its that time of the year again. The holidays are right around the corner and my calendar is filling up fast. My new holiday mini sessions are back and better than ever. For clients that prefer a full session and would like to order holiday cards or gifts, please contact me as soon as possible to schedule a date. To ensure timely holiday delivery, all holiday portrait sessions must be take place by November 8th.
